NU Community Service Funds 23 Mar 12

The New Ulm District 88 School Board on Thursday approved the allocation of more than $19,000 in Community Service Funds. The amount of money the district must by law designate for youth development programs was determined by the 2010 census. Following recommendations by the Community Education Advisory Board, the New Ulm School Board on Thursday approved a total funding amount of $15,525 dollars for Healthy Communities Healthy Youth New Ulm Area for the coming school year, as well as $2,000 for Network New Ulm Youth for this school year, and an additional $2,000 for the program for next year as well.
