The relatively-new Best Buy store in Hutchinson is among 5 Best Buys in Minnesota that the company will be closing down. A total of 50 Best Buys are closing nationwide by sometime this fall, and around 400 employees will be laid off. The electronic giant recently posted a $1.7-billion loss compared to a $650-million profit a year earlier. The other Minnesota stores confirmed to be closing include in Edina, Brooklyn Center, Lakeville and Rogers. The company says it will work to help the employees affected by the closures.
