Hit & Run In Waseca 31 Mar 12

Police in Waseca are asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for a hit and run crash Thursday evening. It happened at the intersection of Second Street and West Elm Avenue in Waseca. A green 1998 Honda 4-door with Texas plates apparently struck a motorcyclist at approximately 5:20pm. The unidentified driver is said to have stopped after the crash to remove a damaged piece of bumper and license plate from the vehicle and then left them at the scene before driving off. The car has since been recovered by police, but they are still looking for the driver. The motorcyclist, 31-year-old Jason Roeker of Waseca was hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
