Heart Healthy Turkey Meatballs 26 Mar 12

1 pound lean ground turkey
1 egg white
1/2 cup oats
1-1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp dried basil
1 jar desired tomato sauce

Combine the ground turkey, egg white, oats and spices and shape into meatballs. Layer a little tomato sauce on the bottom of a crock pot. Place meatballs on top and cover with remaining pasta sauce. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or low for 8 hours. Serve with whole wheat pasta.
