The Brown County Board on Tuesday unanimously approved a Conditional Use Permit allowing the Essig Baseball Club to install lights at it’s baseball park. The conditions of allowing the lights include shutting them off no more than 45 minutes after scheduled games end, and that all games must start no later than 8:30pm, unless delayed by the weather. The lighting project is estimated to cost around $115,000, and will be privately financed through donations and fund-raisers.
