The 1st-ever “Breaking The Ice” Walk/Run was held today (SAT) in both Sleepy Eye and Kuwait. The Sleepy Eye side of the event started at 9am, while Minnesota National Guard “Red Bull” Soldiers held a simultaneous event overseas that started at 5pm Kuwait time. Over 300 people took part in the event in Sleepy Eye & over 250 in Kuwait. All of the proceeds went towards Suicide Awareness and Prevention for returning veterans.
