Officials have determined a bomb threat found Thursday at New Ulm High School to be a hoax. Superintendent Harold Remme says when a note was discovered Thursday, school officials responded immediately.
The threat was found Thursday afternoon in a folded piece of paper in the school’s main entrance. An extensive search was conducted and no bomb was discovered so the message was determined to be a hoax by Friday night. Remme said the school is working closely with authorities to find the person who wrote the message and that there are no suspects at this time.
