March is Red Cross month, and blood drives are being held around the area early this week. The Red Cross collects and distributes more than 40% of the nation’s blood supply, and has been synonymous with helping people for more than 130 years. The Red Cross Bloodmobile will be at First Lutheran Church in Le Sueur from 1 to 7pm today (MON). On Tuesday there are blood drives at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato and Peace Lutheran Church in Hutchinson from Noon to 6 as well as at the Arlington Community Center from 1 to 7.
