Winter Weather Coming 20 Feb 12

A winter weather system is about to move into the State of Minnesota. Up to half a foot of snow could fall in northwestern Minnesota starting later today (MON), and three to five inches is possible to the east, but only around one to two inches should fall by tonight across the central and southern portions of the state. Warmer-than-normal temperatures are expected to keep the snow on the slushy side over most of Minnesota, especially in the local area. There is a chance of more precipitation every day this week as well, especially on Wednesday into Thursday.
