Two New Superintendents 29 Feb 12

Maple River Principal Dan Anderson has been offered the position of superintendent for the school district. Current Maple River Superintendent Willis Schoeb is retiring June 30th, and Anderson is expected to take over the job on July 1st. The Maple River School Board is scheduled to vote on approving Anderson’s superintendent contract during it’s March 12th meeting. Another superintendent search came to an end this week as well when Red Wing Assistant High School Principal Evan Gough was named the new superintendent of Blue Earth Area schools. The Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial School District is continuing it’s search for a replacement for retiring Superintendent Les Norman. Interviews with the 3 finalists for that position were taking place this week, with a decision expected next month.
