Kevin Love tallied 22 points with 13 boards, and Michael Beasley chipped in 17 points off the bench. Nikola Pekovic [[ NEE-koh-luh PECK-oh-vitch ]] left with a sprained ankle in the second quarter. Minnesota’s three-game winning streak came to an a close. The Wolves return to the Target Center tomorrow evening to host the Utah Jazz.
Wild Start Road Swing Thursday
(Sunrise, FL) — The Minnesota Wild depart on a brief two-game road swing starting Thursday evening against the Florida Panthers at the BankAtlantic Center. The Wild snapped a seven-game slide with a 2-0 win over the Boston Bruins on Sunday to improve to 26-24-and-9 on the season. Minnesota wraps up the road trip on Friday at Dallas.
Gophers On The Court Tomorrow
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Golden Gophers host sixth-ranked Michigan State tomorrow evening at Williams Arena in Minneapolis. The Gophers suffered a 64-53 setback at Northwestern on Saturday to dip to 5-and-9 in the Big Ten. They have dropped three straight games to fall to 17-and-10 overall. Minnesota lost to Michigan State earlier this season in East Lansing.
