Gophers No Match For Ohio State
(Minneapolis, MN) — Minnesota suffered a 78-68 loss to sixth-ranked Ohio State at Williams Arena last night. Rodney Williams had 21 points and nine rebounds for the Gophers, who have dropped three-of-four. Minnesota is now 5-and-8 in Big Ten play and 17-and-9 overall. The Gophers wrap up this week’s play on Saturday evening at Northwestern.
T’Wolves Hit The Hardwood
(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Timberwolves hit the hardwood this evening as they host the Charlotte Bobcats at the Target Center. The T’Wolves have dropped four games in-a-row on the heels of a three-game winning streak to sit at 13-and-16 on the season. They suffered a 102-89 setback at Orlando on Monday. Minnesota hits the road to take on the Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center on Friday evening.
