Two full weekends of fun-filled events kick off today (FRI) in the City of St. Peter with Winterfest 2012. Winterfest events kick off at Noon today with a community chili feed at the St. Peter American Legion. Other Winterfest events include a medallion hunt, a youth fishing contest, a special dinner and dance, a candlelight hike at the Treaty Site History Center, the Polar Bear Plunge, the annual Hairy Legs Contest and Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament, and much more.
