A St. Peter man was hospitalized Friday night after leading police on a brief car chase in Mankato. 26-year-old Adam Campbell allegedly refused to pull over for a state trooper while driving northbound on Range Street in Mankato at just after midnight. He then reportedly lost control of his Oldsmobile Intrigue and struck 2 parked vehicles at the Budget Host Inn before attempting to flee from the state trooper on foot. Campbell was tazered following the brief foot chase, and was taken to the Mankato Mayo Hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Alcohol was detected in his system. Criminal charges against him are pending.
