The driver of a Zamboni at a peewee hockey game was arrested for operating the ice resurfacing machine while drunk on Monday. Apple Valley Police were called to Hayes Arena after the Zamboni driver began weaving across the ice and smashing into the boards. A coach called 911 as the 10-minute ice resurfacing job went on for nearly a half hour. The 34-year-old driver failed a field sobriety test and was arrested. Parents helped smooth the rough spots on the ice after he was taken into custody.
