Community interviews with the 3 finalists for the Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial superintendent position begin today (MON). A total of 25 applications were initially received to replace current Lake Crystal Superintendent Les Norman, who is retiring on June 30th. That number has since been narrowed down to 3 finalists for the job. They are: Jordan Elementary Principal Stacy DeCorsey, BOLD Superintendent Tom Farrell, and MACCRAY Superintendent Greg Schmidt. District residents are being encouraged to attend the interviews with the finalists this week to meet the candidates and ask questions. The interviews take place beginning at 4pm today, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the Lake Crystal Wellcome Memorial Secondary School Media Center. A decision on the district’s next superintendent is expected by the end of March.
