The next meeting of the “Friends Of ISD 88″ takes place this (MON) evening in New Ulm. A group of concerned citizens formed the Friends Of ISD 88 following the defeat of the District 88 levy referendum last November. Over $20,000 has been raised by the group so far as a way to minimize budget cuts at New Ulm schools. Citizens interested in assisting the group in maintaining a strong school district for the community are welcome to attend the meeting this evening, which takes place from 7-8pm at the Christ the King Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in New Ulm. Several issues will be discussed, including the Friends Of ISD 88 Spring Event coming up in April.
