Senator Al Franken is sending his staffers out into communities across the state in the coming weeks to hear what Minnesotans have to say about the next Farm Bill. The United States Senate will begin hearings and debate on the 2012 Farm Bill in the near future, and Franken says he want to hear what farmers, ranchers and ag officials have to say about the massive legislation that will affect the one in five jobs in Minnesota that are related to agriculture. Franken’s staff kicks off the Farm Bill Outreach Tour next Tuesday at 10am at Minnesota Soybean in Mankato.
