Four people were charged with various crimes in Redwood County Court on Wednesday for their involvement in the alleged stabbing of 4 people on the Lower Sioux Indian Reservation on Tuesday. James Earl Toth of Cottonwood and Jennifer Kaye Blue of Granite Falls were both charged with 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. Sheena Agnes Renee Crow of Morton was charged with simple robbery and 5th-degree assault, and Samantha Rae Hein of Morton was charged with aiding and abetting simple robbery, 5th-degree assault and criminal damage to property. Their next court date is this coming Monday. John Raymond Renville of Morton was arrested Wednesday afternoon after being released from a Twin Cities area hospital following surgery for a stab wound to the neck. Authorities are still determining what charges will be filed against him. The investigation into what happened early Tuesday morning continues, but the stabbing reportedly occurred while some of the defendants were participating in some type of illegal activity.
