Two young men were taken into custody early Friday after allegedly stealing a car in Mankato. The Chevy Trailblazer was reported stolen from outside an apartment on East Campus View in Mankato at about 1:20am. The victim had apparently left the vehicle running, and returned about 10 minutes after starting it to find that it was gone. An alert was put out, and a Blue Earth County Sheriff’s deputy then spotted the vehicle about 6 minutes later parked near the AmericInn hotel off Stadium Road in Mankato. 19-year-old Dillon Christopher True of St. Peter and 20-year-old Jamie Robert Kor of Mankato were reportedly inside the vehicle at the time, and were both taken into custody. They are being held in the Blue Earth County Jail.
