one bunch asparagus stems
course sea salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

Move the rack of the oven to the top and preheat the broiler. Lay a piece of aluminum foil over a cookie sheet. Wash asparagus stems and trim off the end of each stem, about ½ inch. Arrange asparagus on the aluminum foil. Sprinkle about 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the asparagus trying to get olive oil on each stem. Then, sprinkle desired amount of course sea salt. Place in oven for 7-9 minutes to broil. Remove from oven, turn asparagus and return back to oven for about 3 minutes.
