The New Ulm Sister Cities Commission is looking for qualified applicants willing to live and work in Germany for up to 12 weeks. Hans Joohs Cultural Exchange Program candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age and have fair-to-good German language skills. Applicants should also be from the New Ulm area, or have ties to New Ulm. The Sister Cities Commission and it’s German counterpart provide transportation to and from Germany as well as a modest stipend, housing, and a paid internship in a position based on the candidate’s background and interests. Application forms are available through New Ulm City Hall. The application deadline is January 31st.
