New Ulm Residents Injured In Rollover 16 Jan 12

Two New Ulm residents were injured in a rollover accident on Interstate 90 Saturday morning. 46-year-old Loretta Gerasch was driving a 2004 Jeep Liberty eastbound on I-90 when she lost control of the vehicle on an icy stretch of the freeway just west of Adrian at just after 10am. The Jeep then went through the median and across the westbound lanes before going through the guardrail and down an embankment before rolling several times and going through a fence. Gerasch and her passenger, 59-year-old Paul Gerasch were both taken to Sanford Hospital in Luverne with only minor injuries. They were both wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The State Patrol says that Gerasch had the cruise control on at the time as well.
