A New Ulm man was injured Saturday afternoon after losing control of his car on Highway 4 and running into a tree. 24-year-old James Grams was travelling northbound on Highway 4 near Brown County Road 30 when he lost control of his 2002 Saturn at just before 1pm Saturday. The car reportedly went across the east side of the road and hit a small tree head-on before it bounced back and came to rest in the northbound ditch facing south. Grams was taken to the New Ulm Medical Center with unidentified injuries. The State Patrol says it is unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
