New Ulm Man Criminal Sex 19 Jan 12

A rural New Ulm man faces felony charges for allegedly sexually assaulting two 14-year-old girls. 21-year-old Shawn Arthur Olson was pulled over for suspicion of drunken driving after reportedly making a wide turn and swerving while driving his pickup truck in New Ulm. Authorities say that there were two 14-year-old girls and a 16-year-old in the truck with him at the time, as well as a bottle of rum. The 2 younger girls failed a breath test, and upon further investigation officers learned that Olson had allegedly had oral sex with the girls while parked in a field approach in Nicollet County. He faces charges 3rd-degree criminal sexual conduct, indecent exposure, and providing alcohol to minors.
