If you like your winters on the mild side, you’re in luck. We escape the chill of the past couple days today (WED) and rise into the mid to upper 30s across the southern half of the state. But the real warm-up comes tomorrow with temperatures near 60 in southwestern Minnesota. Forecaster Tony Zaleksi says Thursday’s expected readings in the mid to high 50s are 20 to 30 degrees above normal for this time of year. He says it’s hard to remember an early Minnesota January with this kind of weather.
