A 19-year-old Kasota man faces felony drug charges in Nicollet County following a traffic stop in St. Peter. Kyle Jeffrey Allen was pulled over by St. Peter Police for not wearing a seatbelt. During the traffic stop, Allen reportedly showed signs of being intoxicated and allegedly admitted to smoking synthetic marijuana earlier that day. A search of the vehicle turned up 8 baggies of the synthetic marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and 2 Adderall pills. Allen has been charged with a 5th-degree possession charge, and faces up to 5 years in prison. His first appearance in court is next Tuesday.
