Hunting & Fishing Fee Hikes 16 Jan 12

Minnesota’s Department of Natural Resources is pushing to raise fees for hunting and fishing licenses.  They say the move is to save the Game and Fish Fund which supports several sportsmens’ programs.  The fund will reportedly be over $7-million in the red by the middle of next year.  The increase for a typical resident fishing license would go up from $17 to $24 a year, while a deer license would increase from $26 to $30.
