Ham and Potato Cream Soup 02 Jan 12

1 tbsp butter
1 large onion, chopped
10 potatoes
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 lb mixed cheese (Cheddar, Swiss, Colby)
2 soup cans of milk
1 cup diced ham, precooked

Saute onion in butter. Cube potatoes and add to mixture. Add 3 cups water. Cook until potatoes are well done. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for about 30 minutes.
