The Gustavus Adolphus College Symphony Orchestra is performing in South Africa over the next week. Director Dr. Ruth Lin says that Gustavus frequently sends groups overseas. The Gustavus Symphony Orchestra will perform 4 concerts in Cape Town while in South Africa and 2 concerts in Johannesburg. The orchestra consists of approximately 60 students. They will be returning to the States on February 1st, and celebrate their trip with a free concert at home in St. Peter on Sunday, February 12th.
