A dog that had been missing since a fatal Christmas Eve car accident near Willmar has been found alive and well. The 3-year-old Schnauzer, named Lord, had been the subject of numerous searches after he ran away from the multi-vehicle crash December 24th that killed 29-year-old Justin Gustafson of Redwood Falls. Gustafson, his parents and the family’s two dogs, were in a vehicle that was struck after another car ran a red light. Lord had been missing since then. Two volunteers then spotted the dog on Friday, and were able to lure him in with some rotisserie chicken. He was reportedly skinny and full of cockleburs when they found him, but was otherwise doing OK.
