Comfrey Sup’t Resigning 12 Jan 12

The Superintendent and Principal of the Comfrey School District has announced his intention to resign this year. Allen Hoffman tendered his resignation during the recent Comfrey School Board meeting. He cited the fact that his family is likely to move to the Twin Cities in the near future, and that the school district is looking for a longer-term commitment from a superintendent. The Comfrey School Board had expressed interest in signing a superintendent to a 3-year or more contract. Hoffman’s current contract expires June 30th. The search for his replacement will likely get underway soon.
