Real January cold is settling in over the state this week. There were readings of under ten-below across northern Minnesota this (TUE) morning and forecasters say highs today will top out in only the low teens across the entire state. Cold weather is predicted for tomorrow (WED) again as well, with highs in the local area only expected to make it up to the low 20s, and temps possibly dropping below zero tomorrow night. Light snow could continue on Wednesday as well, and motorists are reminded to slow down and drive with caution. Things should start to warm up by this weekend, with temperatures forecast to push the 40-degree mark again.
