A cold wakeup this (FRI) morning will lead to a warmer weekend ahead. A good portion of Minnesota was in negative or single digit territory this morning. New Ulm had below-zero wind chills with single-digit temperatures this morning, and highs won’t leave the teens this afternoon. But forecasters say Saturday’s highs should spring back up into the 20s and low 30s across the state. And Southwestern Minnesota could hit 40-degrees on Sunday.
