Blood Drives – Week Of 1/16/12 16 Jan 12

National Blood Donor Month continues, and the American Red Cross is holding blood drives in the local area this week, including in New Ulm and Sleepy Eye. Donating blood takes only an hour of your time, but can give patients extra days, months, or even years with their family and friends. The need for blood is constant, with a patient needing it approximately every 2 seconds. The Bloodmobile is at the Cologne Community Center from 1:30 to 6:30 today (MON). On Tuesday there’s a blood drive at the Eagle’s Orchid Inn of Sleepy Eye from 1 to 7pm. The New Ulm Rec Center Vogel Fieldhouse hosts blood drives from 1 to 7 on Wednesday and Thursday and from 8am to 1pm on Friday, and the New Prague Knights of Columbus are hosting a blood drive from 12:30 to 6:30 on Friday as well.
