The man who robbed the Wells Fargo Bank in Saint Peter at gunpoint Thursday morning remains at large, and the FBI is now following up on leads that could link the suspect to bank robberies in the Twin Cities. The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 6-feet tall with a medium build. He was reportedly waiting outside the bank before 7am when an employee arrived to open the building. The man then allegedly displayed a handgun and forced his way into the bank before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. The FBI is heading up the investigation, with assistance from St. Peter and Nicollet County authorities as well as the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
