Slow Week For The Flu 30 Dec 11

Warmer weather often means more time outside, which can lead to less chance of flu being spread from person to person indoors. That’s the assertion from the Minnesota Health Department which reports just one added hospitalization in the latest week of influenza activity. Two schools reported outbreaks but there were none in any nursing homes statewide. Minnesota’s flu season is off to a slow start but it doesn’t usually peak until late January.
