Law enforcement officials will be out in full force on Minnesota roads looking for drunken drivers over the New Year holiday weekend. State Patrol Lieutenant Eric Roeske reminds revelers to have a good time, but make sure to line up a sober driver or other safe way home from the evening’s celebrations. Roeske says it’s been a relatively safe year on the state’s roads, with fatalities down over the last couple years. Over 400 law enforcement agencies around the state will be taking part in this weekend’s Safe and Sober crackdown.
