The New Ulm City Council is scheduled to give it’s final approval to the city’s 2012 budget and tax levy this (TUE) evening. The proposed operating budget for New Ulm for next year is currently at $21.5-million, with a property tax levy of $5.5-million, a .95% increase over this year. In other business, the Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing for the adoption of a Brewer’s Tap Room On-Sale Liquor License, with the cost of such a license still to be determined. The Council will also be issuing Bed and Breakfast licenses for 2012. The meeting starts at 5pm at New Ulm City Hall.
