Minnesota Flu Season Still Mild 02 Dec 11

The flu season continues on a mild course. Minnesota is among about half of all states showing what the Centers for Disease Control terms “sporadic” influenza activity. The other half of states have reported few if any flu cases. In the latest reporting week, there were two hospitalizations in Minnesota, bringing this season’s total to just 12 overall. The state Health Department also reports two school outbreaks in the past week.
