The man wanted by police for allegedly robbing a cab driver at knifepoint in Mankato recently was arrested on Monday. 41-year-old Timothy Lamont Ayers was spotted going into a Mankato home at around 4pm and the Nicollet County K9 unit was brought in as a perimeter was set up. Ayers was spotted again and fled from police on foot. He was found by the K9 hiding in a window well and arrested without incident. He faces charges of aggravated robbery and fleeing police, as well as credit card fraud on an outstanding warrant.
