Firefighters from more than 10 area communities battled a large fire in rural Le Sueur County Tuesday. The fire destroyed a large shed on Sibley Heights Lane, and sent large plumes of smoke into the sky in the process. The fire was reported at shortly before noon, and crews from the Le Sueur Fire Department called in firefighters from Henderson to bring more water. More than ten fire departments eventually responded to the scene. The shed is being called a total loss, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
