The New Ulm Farm-City Hub Club has announced the latest recipient of it’s “Service To Agriculture” award. The annual award recognizes those who promote agriculture while also volunteering in the community. The 2012 Service to Agriculture Award will be presented to Scott Stuckey of New Ulm during the Hub Club’s annual meeting and banquet on January 23rd. A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Stuckey serves as an FFA Advisor at New Ulm High School. Along with helping students achieve their various FFA degrees, he also works with them as they participate in Supervised Agricultural Experience and Career Development Events. Stuckey has been a member of the Farm-City Hub Club for many years as well, and has served as organizer of the annual New Ulm Farm Show. As a youth he was the President of the Minnesota FFA organization also. Anyone interested in attending the Hub Club’s annual banquet should RSVP to (507)354-5922 by January 13th.
