Five people were seriously injured in a car crash on Highway 99 east of Le Center Saturday evening. It happened at about 5:30pm on the icy highway at Le Sueur County Road 136. A westbound 2008 Chrysler driven by 83-year-old Arlene Peterson of Le Center collided with an eastbound 1997 Buick driven by 49-year-old Ronald Boucher of Hastings. Peterson and her 3 passengers, and Boucher and his passenger, were all taken to Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague, and everyone except Boucher’s passenger was then taken to North Memorial in Robbinsdale.
