It’s been exactly one year since three panels of the Metrodome roof collapsed after a storm dropped 17 inches of snow in 24 hours, and Metrodome officials are ready to mark the anniversary tonight (MON). The first 250 people who show up to go inline skating around the concourse tonight will receive a free piece of the Metrodome’s Teflon roof. The Rollerdome program runs from 5 to 9pm. The collapse forced the Minnesota Vikings to play their final two home games of the season elsewhere, but it was replaced and re-inflated by July. It was the fourth roof collapse at the facility, but the first since 1983.
