Butter-Butter Cookies 27 Dec 11

1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp almond extract
2-1/3 cups all-purpose flour

Cream butter; gradually add sugar and beat until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and almond extract. Gradually blend in flour. Fill cookie press with 1/4 of dough at a time; form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove cookies and place on wire rack to cool.
