A 20-year-old from Worthington has announced his decision to seek the DFL endorsement for the Minnesota House District 22-B seat currently held by Republican Representative Rod Hamilton of Mountain Lake. Jacob Holck attends classes at Minnesota West and has started a religious ministry for troubled youth in Worthington with a group of friends. If elected he says he would conduct listening tours with his constituents to help form a plan to revive rural communities, and would also focus on education issues. State law requires Minnesota legislators to be 21 years of age at the time they take office. Holck will turn 21 in February.
