The US Public Interest Research Group is out with its 26th annual Trouble in Toyland report. Minnesota outreach director Ashley Grimm says a lot of toys on store shelves in the state pose potential safety hazards for children. Grimm says parents need to be vigilant while shopping this holiday season. The report finds the “Little Hands of Love” teething book sold at Target contains more than twice the allowed amount of lead, and the “Elmo’s World” Talking Cell Phone tests ten decibels above acceptable noise levels.
