A train collided with a semi-truck just outside of the City of Lake Crystal Monday morning. The accident occurred at just before 9am when the semi hauling dry distillers grains was hit by a Union Pacific train just west of Lake Crystal. State Patrol investigators say the semi driver apparently approached the railroad crossing and failed to stop completely. The truck did sustain some damage, but no one was injured. The crash remains under investigation, but authorities say the driver will likely be cited for a traffic violation.
