Hapless Vikings Face Falcons

Gophers Dump DePaul
(Orlando, FL) — Trevor Mbakwe drew an offensive foul on DePaul’s Cleveland Melvin with 14 seconds to play in regulation to preserve an 86-85 victory for Minnesota in the Old Spice Classic. Mbakwe finished with 16 points and 12 rebounds. Austin Hollins added 11 points for the Golden Gophers, who improved to 5-and-0. The Golden Gophers face Indiana State in the semifinals today.
